Trending: The Colors of Fall

One of the best things about flowers is that they are seasonal.  This means that the designs we create are constantly changing to reflect the varieties and colors of each new month.  This fall, Pantone has put together a palate that is fresh and sure to inspire some great arrangements!
In the detail below, Aurora Red coxcomb, Misted Yellow sunflower, Cognac kiwi vine and Radiant Orchid dendrobiums make a bright fall composition.
Using these colors for inspiration we can then take our designs one step further by adding in natural autumnal elements such as fall leaves, gilded lotus pods, and apples paired with wheat.
For the autumn birthday, consider doing a twist on our website favorite, The Hot Brights, with a stylish burlap wrap.
So, in the next couple of months when choosing flowers, let nature help guide your creativity, and we will all experience the freshness of each new moment in time!

Hi, my name is Siobhan, I own a florist in Toowoomba, Australia.

I love your post about trending colours and flowers heading your way this fall, we call it autumn. Flower trends tend to head our way, ‘downunder’, but unfortunately we will not see this trend until March 2015. I cannot wait!
